Innovative sculpture by local artist Pete Rogers. Both Sustrans and City Of York's Creative Communities 2000 Scheme helped to fund the sculpture. The Fisher has caught the Flying Scotsman a nod to the past railway usage of this bridge and also to York's railway heritage. More
Wow literally on top of the bridge! Easy to walk or cycle there with pushchairs dogs little kids. Side of the road parking walk under and on to the marina and cafe the other way for the end of the solar system walk... More
An absolute credit to York is this Sculpture. When we went there was plenty of people admiring and taking pictures. Great to see from the south side as you see the dog with its leg up. More
