I have finally managed to visit Goddards and am so impressed! Visiting today a beautiful Saturday in October I was amazed by the vast array of colourful planting. … More
A charming visit – the house feels homely the gardens are peaceful and the tearoom on the terrace serves lovely hot and cold food. A lovely quieter alternative to York’s bigger attractions. We walked from the city centre via the river and knavesmire a wonderful 1.8mile walk 👍 …
Lovely gardens so peaceful and lovely staff that stop and have a chat with you. The terrace looks lovely to sit and have refreshments. Only a few tables which is the downside. But would definitely visit again More
