Amazing place and traditional crafts and professional standards of grade 1 master glazers
I always enjoyed my photographic visits to the workshop and admired the concentration and dedication that each crafts person displayed. Seeing the restoration taking place was like a journey back in time small fragments of glass creating an amazing work of art just as those original glaziers would have done.
It's worth setting up a pricy group tour to learn about the important work these folks are doing. Perhaps the highlight of five weeks in York.
