Luxury glamping pods in Witton Gilbert - 10 minute drive from Durham City.Our hand-built glamping pods are in an idyllic leafy garden setting, adjacent to woodland and farmland. There is a fenced pond with deck and fabulous countryside views. The site is away from roads so both dog and child friendly.Each pod has an electric Jacuzzi hot tub, picnic table and fire pit outside with privacy fencing between the pods. Inside is a shower room/toilet, double bed, large sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, and wardrobe, plus TV, Wi-Fi, and under floor heating.From the site you can walk or drive to a dog friendly farm shop/coffee shop, or the Travellers Rest pub boasting great food.If you prefer to stay on site, the local takeaways deliver too.

THE DAWNING OF A NEW ERA...PURCHASED IN 2019, OPENING IN 2020.With the Sisters of the Holy Paraclete being in residence for over 100 years, the astounding Castle, Priory & Chapel stands in one of the most iconic buildings in the area. One of the most spectacular features is the unbelievable Norman-Style Chapel which is fully licensed for all ceremonies. Having admired the craftsmanship and architecture from our neighboring celebration venue, The Stables at Crossbutts, it was the most natural of progressions and simply an opportunity that could not be missed when it came on the market.The next chapter begins for Sneaton Castle, may you make your own history with us.
