Everything was top tier. Attentive service, the food was delicious. We have came back to this restaurant every time we visit Newcastle.

Service from Joanna was great and my partners meal, sides and desserts were really nice. However, my main course (the Cajun steak skewer) was not good. The taste was fine but only 2 of the pieces were edible, the others were far too chewy that I physically couldn’t get through them. Based off the sides and other food I tried I would come back again, but would definitely be staying away from the steak.

Lovely venue, with great vegan options. The mushrooms on toast starter was absolutely delicious. The vegetable wellington main was pretty good, and I loved the creamed sprouts they came with. The vegan brownie dessert was moist and chewy - really tasty! Service was pretty poor, but otherwise a great experience.

Everything all together made a great visit for someone like me who was eating alone. Liana was very kind and serviceminded. Helped me pick from the menu and also took some time for small talk even if it was a busy evening. I had a starter with some roasted bread with 3 kinds of butter, black union was the best. Main I had the duck, and a toffe pudding for dessert. The dessert and service was the best. I am glad I gave this place a chance! I am coming back 🥰

The toast with the mushrooms was a huge sized portion. The mushroom flavor was creamy and bold. I had the sirloin as the main course and it was paired with red wine.The Black truffle butter sauce was unique and it complimented the steak. The chips were not super starchy, and the crispy texture had you reaching for the next one. The waitresses knew the menu, as I had questions about what to order. Oh and they were friendly.
