This was my second visit.
The first was for Sunday lunch.

I would go again, and my wife (very discerning) echoes that sentiment. High praise indeed!

A SIMPLE BUT LOVELY RESTAURANT
Well what a nice surprise this visit was, for myself and my husband.

After many friends and family contacting me to come and try this lovely little restaurant we were both very pleasantly surprised by the cosiness and friendly atmosphere by all the staff and the FOOD was amazing.

It was reasonably priced and so well presented and very filling, tasty, homemade and with plenty of choice for everyone.

We had Soup of the Day which was lovely and hot, hubby had the Steak and Ale pie, which I had a taste of and it was delicious, the meat just melted in your mouth and the puff pastry top was so light, I had the Chilli Con Carne with Tortillas and sour cream, just beautiful and we were so full we shared a Strawberry and Raspberry Eton Mess my favourite dessert and the best I have ever tried.

So if you are looking to try really good homecooked food in a small and quaint restaurant then look no further than here, we will be coming back and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank You.

Draft IPA by Grand Central was a pleasant addition.

Absolutely amazing freshly home cooked food. We ordered off the 2 for £21 menu, and it was great value. It's definitely worth a look, but you need to book to get a table. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆
