Service was really friendly. Not very full in terms of customers. Even for a Thursday afternoon. Soup and sandwich was value for money. The fish pancake was more pancake and fish. Thought there would be loads about Stan Laural bot not that much. Rather visit the museum if you want more info. More

Great traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere. Excellent selection of real ales and well-kept beers tasty food and welcoming staff. Full of character and dog-friendly — highly recommended. More
