Impressively anachronistic. Gents loo sign says it all. A classic village pub in a classic northern village. Very well worth a stop off. More
Quite possibly the best pub in the country. I first walked in cashless only to be sat down and bought drinks and welcomed by all of the locals. Fast forward 10 months the landlord the punters the crack are all second to none you won’t find a funnier more genuine group of people anywhere. Can’t wait to come back
