The Stanley Jefferson - JD Wetherspoon

This was a superb pub for drinking with an underground style layout! The counter is well presented too and glass roof is pleasant staff were friendly. I enjoyed an IPA beer sitting comfortably at a clean table! More

Another great quirky Wetherspoons pub! Really nice and with a spacious courtyard at the rear. A real suntrap on nice days. Sadly as with too many 'Spoons the staff seem allergic to serving customers and can barely bring themselves to crack a smile or say 'hello'! It's not difficult and would make a visit so much more pleasant! More

Lovely place great staff. Nice and warm on a cold winters day. Came for a coffee with my partner after walking round bishop auckland. More
