HMP Durham Visitors Centre

Durham visitor centre is very clean and tidy but it is quite a walk from the prison cross a busy Main Road and it's the weather is wet you are going to go into the prison soaking there also is no parking you have to walk down a long Hill to park 80 pence for half an hour quite expensive

What ever you do... DO NOT PARK IN VISITOR CENTRE ITS NOT MARKED OUTSIDE YOU GET A TICKET APPARENTLY SIGNS SOMEWHERE INSIDE BUT NOT OUTSIDE. CYCLISTS DISMOUNT. 5MPH . NO SMOKING ONLY VISIBLE SIGNS TO VISITORS VISITING VISITOR CENTRE
