Lovely walk from shincliffe alongside the river wear to elvet bridge. After looking around old Durham walking back on the other side of the river. One of the best walks in this area with plenty to see even if your lucky seeing kingfishers fishing. Best time of the year is autumn when the trees are in full colour its beautiful
