Wensleydale Railway - (Leyburn Station)

Very nice Diesel heritage railway. Good views on journey not over grown like some staff at stations are very nice and in period costumes

Brilliant little preserved railway can thoroughly recommend a visit for lovers of old diesel engines combined with the lovely scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

A pleasant restored heritage railways station with train service. The station has a cafe and shop and is well stocked and run by very friendly volunteers. I had a coffee and cake and both were nice. In terms of the train ride it’s a scenic line but the timetable isn’t the most frequent so definitely check before attending.
