Popped into The Rat after visiting Hexham. Hadn’t been here for years and had forgotten what a beautiful location for a pub it is. A warm welcome awaited us. We both ordered a cheeseburger with chips and weren’t disappointed. The service was spot on and we left feeling that we’d definitely like to return soon. More
