Excellent place to walk the dog. Loads of open space lots of tracks to walk a hide to sit it watching the birds and the occasional deer. Then there's the river with its 'beach'. Fantastic. Our Labrador couldn't keep out of the river he loved it. Highly recommend for nature lovers or dog walkers.

Lovely peaceful place; a nice way to spend a few hours listening to the birds and have a stroll beside the river. I got absolutely lynched by horse flies in certain spots but there’s nothing you can do about that then rewarded by seeing two deer passing beside the Wickerman! Lots of different small routes to take around the area
