Horton Bank Country Park

Such a lovely place a hidden gem for walking and dog friendly and a decent size of pond wild flowers look amazing. A humble request please do not throw bear cans and leave mess after BBQ. More

Wasn't as big as looks on Google maps but a lovely walk. Kids paddling ducks dog walkers really nice (mostly clean) place. Car park gated shut but roadside parking. Picnic benches at the top walking through the slightly open gates. An idiot family had a fire going. Some steep areas steps and a fab view from the top! More

This is a beautiful little gem for a peaceful walk. Family friendly and great for dog walkers. Wouldn't advise taking a pram as it is steep and very bumpy going down to the water from the car park. Picnic spots and seating around the lake with tranquil views. More
