Durham heritage coast is one of my favourite places in the UK. The views are absolutely spectacular. It can be quite cold and breezy but the fresh air certainly makes up for this in more ways that one. It's not far from Dalton park and there are lots of places to park. Make the trip there and you won't regret it.
