A great club to join and great people if you like Chess. Very Welcoming.
43 years on and I'm still playing for Woodseats so it can't be that bad! All ages welcome from beginners to masters (we have both!). Come visit us on a Monday night for friendly casual chess or team chess in the Sheffield League if you want to play more competitively.
Best Chess Club in town! Very welcoming to new members of all abilities. Also very conveniently situated! Comfortable accommodation in an upstairs room. If you fancy a game of chess come to the Abbey!
