Built in the 1400’s was originally just a large Manor House. Then when tensions rose during the English - Scottish war the castle tower was built to fortify and help protect the Various families. More
The most beautiful place to visit.. free entry..walk down the lane past the church.. very well maintained.. couldn't believe I was the only one there! More
Tonight me and Star took a nice walk to Edlingham Castle Star loves exploring castle ruins. Would never have found this place if I wasn't an English Heritage Member. Nice ruins and great little area to explore. More
