Unfortunately it doesn't look like this sea water pool is going to be restored. Unless this was done with local authority monies I can't see it could be viable from a commercial/profit perspective as I think most people will chose to swim in the open sea

It's such a shame that this outdoor pond was allowed to fall into disrepair. Some very rich benefactors of Tynemouth should bring it back to life..
