It's just above average. Fair portion size & good service but not cheap & leaves an after taste. One reviewer on here says "the best haddock & chips he's ever tasted". I can only assume that's the only one he's tried! More

The fish and chips were just average. The fish was cooked properly but the batter wasn’t as crisp as I hoped. Nothing to say for the burger. That curry sauce with corn was a real treat—unique! The portion was decent and service was nice but overall it didn’t stand out. Fine for a quick meal but nothing I’d rave about.

Lovely place for fish and chips. Me and my girlfriend arrived to York yesterday night and have a little walk in the town and this place for fish and chips was the best stop. Clean lovely service and the food was amazing. 100% recommended also it was my first type having gravy on my chips but I won’t be the last time. More
