St Everida's Church is one of only two churches in the country dedicated to Evrilda an Anglo-Saxon saint. Grade ll listed it was rebuilt in the 12th century. The galleries were added in 1778. The new alter was made by Robert Thompson in 1939. It is a lovely church and it was nice that it was open to visitors.
This church has is very close to my heart. I got married here it is my mum's resting place and my dad has a memorial bench. Such a beautiful place.
